It's Christmas and New Year's. Three girls between 18 and 20 are hospitalized with cancer. All three have serious problems, not just in health, but also in their relationships with their nearest and dearest. The girls each find a haven in one another&'s company, free from the fear of death and loneliness. Through it all, they maintain their sense of humor, an unrestrained candidness, and an uncompromising zest for life.
